I am an ambitious junior Accounting student in Rochester Institute of Technology. In my opinion, Accounting is the meaning of organizing, analyzing, structuring and the fundamental of every business. I have decided to learn Accounting because I really enjoy in analyzing those transactions or numbers and providing qualified information to users. Each of those numbers is telling people a story, and I would like to be that storyteller.
I built a solid Accounting foundation and completed some related projects through my accounting courses. I am proficient in preparing financial statements and completed financial statement project with all five required GAAP financial statements based on trial balance and journal entries; Familiar with tax return process and form 1040, completed 6 projects of tax return based on different background; and Finished Integrated Audit Practice Case by preparing of engagement letter and audit work paper file; developed skills in the application of auditing standards, analyzing transactions and applying audit knowledge.
I will keep working on the master degree after I graduate in 2017, in order to get 150 credits to meet the CPA exam requirement.
