Bio

I'm a Principal in the Tax Department of Cover & Rossiter focusing on trusts and estates. I joined Cover & Rossiter in 2015, and believe my excellent analytical skills and broad technical knowledge help me succeed in my commitment to optimizing my clients’ tax situations.

Prior to moving to Delaware in 2015, I practiced public accounting for over 20 years in New York City. During that time, I served on both the Interstate Taxation Committee and the International Taxation Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. I have authored taxation articles for The CPA Journal, TaxStringer, Delaware Banker, Delaware Business and smartpros.com and served as an instructor for Foundation for Accounting Education seminars.

I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration magna cum laude in Public Accountancy from Baruch College in 1988. I am a member of both the Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi national honor societies. I completed my Master of Science in Taxation in 1995, at Baruch College as well. I have been licensed as a CPA in New York since 1991, and also hold a permit to practice in Delaware. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants.

As a youth, I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. I have served as an adult volunteer Scout leader for many years and in many roles including seven years as Scoutmaster of a troop in Manhattan’s Chinatown. I am currently Cubmaster of a pack in Claymont, Delaware and treasurer for a Girl Scout troop in Brandywine Hundred, Delaware.

In between New York City and Delaware, I lived in Indonesia for four years and can speak Indonesian fairly well. During my free time, I enjoy making up games to play with my young daughter, cooking for my wife, traveling, spending time in the outdoors, following sports and reading nonfiction.
