Currently, I'm pursuing Master of Science in Accountancy degree in Simon Business School, University of Rochester. I would be eligible for AICPA exam March 2017.
I used to work for KPMG Shanghai for almost one year and another twice business-season experience as an intern. The main clients I offered audit service to are Japanese manufacturing company, trading firms and the largest retailers in China. During my stay at KPMG, I performed basic but necessary on-field auditing-procedure work such as the test of details, cut-off test. I cultivated the sense of being an auditor through my work and also the basic understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and PRC NEW GAAP.
I'm a highly motivated and detail-oriented person who works hard but also discreetly. I'm recognized as a good team player by my performance and project manager. I always work with my teammates to reach the goal we want.
The diverse education and working backgrounds let me have the access to accounting practices in China and U.S. Also since my undergraduate study is finance, I have skills in financial analytics and quantitive research. I regard that as my own strength and what I may offer to you.
Besides working and learning, I'm also a daily runner. I love running 2 miles every day, no matter in the gym or on the outside running-path. I've participated in JP Morgan Run and Nike Lunar Run back in Shanghai. I love the feeling of relaxing myself and challenging my own physical limits during the running. And that's what I also want or love to do for my work.
