William Huether is a results-oriented C.P.A. candidate with several years of accounting experience with an international utility corporation that maintains both a U.S. GAAP and IFRS set of books, an international restaurant brand, several years of experience managing all aspects of a small business, and experience with writing and developing a professional business plan for a new business segment of a small business. Currently, William is working as an accountant on the accounting/audit/tax team of a reputable CPA firm on Long Island. William has an extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, the monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing process, financial statement analysis, financial reporting, working with auditors and advisory teams, etc. William also has experience preparing individual state and federal tax returns as a certified volunteer for the IRS VITA/TCE program for several years. He holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. William recently completed his Master of Business Administration Degree in Corporate Finance. On top of being a full-time graduate student and working full-time, William is currently pursuing his C.P.A. license in New York State and has successfully passed all four parts of the CPA exam. He was selected to be the Salutatorian of the Briarcliffe College Class of 2010's commencement ceremony. William is a member of the New York State Society of CPA's and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
